As a small business, with only 20 covers, every seat counts! And we work hard to ensure everyone is seated in the best table combination to maximize space.

Whilst we absolutely understand that plans can change, we would respectfully ask that you call us on 01383-871-590 if your booking numbers are going to alter or if you need to cancel.

That can be the difference between us turning people away or accepting a new booking! Thanks for your understanding.

When we say "I'll just bring that right over", we truly mean it, but it is amazing how many other requests can slide in sideways between you ordering your w**e & us delivering it safely to your table 🤭

More staffing news!

Whilst The Ship W**e and Cocktail Bar Kinghorn is temporarily closed for refurbishment we are delighted to welcome Rowan to the DC gang.

Rowan has loads of hospitality experience & her kids go to Aberdour Primary, so she is a well known face to many. We are very lucky to have her help.

Please say "Hi" when you are next in!

Welcome Rowan ❤️

Today we had to say goodbye to a dear friend, so if we are quieter than normal we hope you understand.

Katrine or Kat was smart, funny, relentlessly positive & most of all incredibly kind.

The beautiful stools we have at our barrel were given to us by Kat.

In her usual generous manner she absolutely refused to take anything for them stating strongly "It's no loss what a friend gets".

The Drinks Cabinet is built on the kindness & friendship of others & is full of special things that together make a whole.

Tonight we raise a glass to Kat! She was loved.

The nights are getting darker & cosier.
We have listened & by popular demand we will continue to stay open until 9pm on a Friday & Saturday for that cheeky wee extra glass of vino.

Today we are saying goodbye to the legend that is our Erin as she heads off on maternity leave.

Erin has been with us since the start & we will miss her dearly, but still hold out hope she will have space in her life for The DC once Baby Swinks has arrived.

We have certainly had lots of fun along the way & have posted some photos to capture some of those happy times.

It's true what they say about never working a day in your life if you do what you love with people you love.

Get those feet up Erin! And thanks for all that you have done for our wee shop ❤️

Sometimes in life we all need that motivational friend to give us that "push" or "pull" to get us to where we want to be.

And where we want to be is The Drinks Cabinet Aberdour

Thank God for friends! 🍷🍾
