We took the chance in the sunshine yesterday to touch up the paint on Chez Purple. There is more to be done, but it's looking fresh!

We love dogs, but would be very grateful if people would not allow their dogs to p*e p*e against the shop wall. It's not a good look!

The sun has set on our failed shop sale.

Today is a new day and we have re-committed to putting our all into the shop until the right person comes along to take it into the future.

This is not a click bait Facebook story, this is a genuine ask......what can we do to move The Purple Shop forward and continue to make it the best version of itself?

A little update ...πŸ’œ

Three months after verbally accepting an offer to purchase the shop, the sale has unfortunately fallen through.

We're naturally very disappointed. It feels as though we, our wonderful team, and this magic wee shop, have all been in limbo during that time.

The truth is, juggling two businesses, three children, and a dog is no small feat, and we had hoped life might slow down a little. But perhaps this is a sign that the right person simply hasn't come along yet.

We love The Purple Shop dearly. Tonight, I finished my shift by giving the counter a fresh coat of paint and reminding myself why we care so much about this place.

So for now, we'll keep doing what we've always done: showing up, looking after our customers, and providing the best service we possibly can for the people of Aberdour.

At the moment, The Purple Shop is off the market πŸ’œ

is not an easy path for our staff to walk, but they do an amazing job and we are very proud of them.
