What is this I see outside the shop?

Is it the rain on the pavement?

No! It is two beautifully accessible customer parking spaces 🤩

Being a small business is hard enough these days without people abandoning their un-MOT'd vehicle across two parking spaces in 20 minute zones for over a week without giving it a minute's thought & without us apparently having any recourse.

But....deep breath....deep breath.... they have now gone.

And thanks to our local councillors, Fife Council and our community policing team for helping us resolve this issue. Sometimes, just sometimes, the good guys still win.

Oor Caroline is looking for one extra marshall for the Donkey Brae Run this Sunday at the corner of Park Lane/High Street.

All you have to be able to do is clap/cheer enthusiastically at the runners and point the runners in the right direction.

I mean what can go wrong? If they turn left at the Park Lane junction they are heading the right way. If they turn right they will find themselves The Drinks Cabinet Aberdour. Not the worst detour in the world 😂

Although the rain is off & on at the moment, it is still very muggy and warm.

We share this weather related info as Ruby our doggy purchasing consultant still firmly believes it is doggy ice cream weather.

Our 'Utterly Mutterly' Doggie Ice Cream sits in our take-away ice cream chiller and helpfully has a picture of a doggy on it to stop the hoomans accidentally picking it up 😂😂

When we came back from our holidays in France, I realised I had slightly over indulged as the scales told me I weighed 99% cheese and 1% croissant.

I suddenly had an epiphany. I spend my life ordering nice things for other people and maybe I should order something nice for myself! 💡
