Hi all,

This is a bit of a personal post.. but I just want to let everyone know that my last day with the company will be next Thursday the 24th of July. I have loved my 11 years in Meiklemill, but it's time to move on.

I would like to thank the loyal customers and all the staff I have worked with in my time, especially the ones that supported me so well when I first became the manager 9 years ago.

It's been one amazing journey and other than a broken chill here or there and the odd misplaced parcel.. 🫣😂 I have tried my best to keep a positive atmosphere and a nice place to shop.

I'm not sure what my next adventure will be yet.. I just hope it will be as fun as this one has been.

I will see as many people as I can over the next week. I can't thank you all enough. I have genuinely loved working here.

Just a reminder before the big day tomorrow that we are open until 10pm tonight and open 7am until 10pm tommrrow for all your Easter needs :)

We have 5 Easter eggs for £7 and 3 for £10 on our larger ones 😀

The hardest part of tomorrow will be trying to convince Grant to wear his bunny ears.. I can only try my best 😂

Job vacancy

We currently have an 8 hour sales assistant contract available.

Shifts will be mostly nights and weekends, starting no earlier than 7am and finishing no later than 10.30pm.

Overtime will be required to cover holidays and potential sickness.

Due to Scottish licensing laws, applicants must be at least 18 years old.

If you fancy joining the team, then pop in store and pick up an application form. This is the only way to apply. Please don't click on any links in the comments as they are spam!

We are open until 10pm tonight and back open tomorrow from 7am until 10pm.

If you fancy a drink to bring in the new year or some pizza, crisps and any other party stuff, then we have it all 🙂

I just want to thank all our lovely customers for their support over this year. It's a pleasure to serve most of you 🙂😂

They will not be dropping off parcels for collection on the dates above, only collecting parcels being sent away.
