Si vous souhaitez séjourner au French Farmhouse Retreat - Chant Oiseau, dans la magnifique Dordogne du Nord, cette année, réservez vite ! Dates restantes :

Cette spacieuse maison de campagne peut accueillir confortablement 8 personnes dans ses 4 chambres. Elle est nichée au cœur d'un grand jardin arboré avec une immense piscine privée et des terrasses extérieures.

Nous acceptons les animaux domestiques et nous sommes situés près du village de Mialet, dans un cadre champêtre idyllique. De nombreuses activités et excursions vous attendent !

Le calendrier 2027 est ouvert aux réservations anticipées.

Just a note to let you all know that this Sunday 31st August is my last day as manager of le Panier de miallet . All stock must go so on Sunday morning anything left must go so come grab a bargain.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you for you love and support over the last few years.
This is not the end of the shop it will be reopening under new management as soon as the renovation have been made. The shop will be open in the mornings for the sale of papers and magazines only
Once again thank you and please do continue to support your local shop when Sarah takes over and wising her every success in her new adventure.

Le Panier de Mialet Proprietors

Hi all so lovely to be welcomed to the wonderful village of Miallet and become a part of the community. Let us introduce ourselves. So we are Richard and Trudi and although we only moved to France in December 2019 we have visited the area regularly as Trudi’s parents own the old pharmacy and are the proud owners of Clifford the dog (Clip) who used to live in the chateau.

Talking of dogs you may well of seen our dog Belle pop her head round the curtain to say hello to you when you do your shopping. She loves a fuss. We both love dogs and if you pop by with your four legged friend they always get a treat.

Running a shop is new to us both as Trudi was a teacher and Richard a DJ, catch him at Rumeurs Bistro. We are both learning so please let us have your feedback. Don’t forget the tearoom will be coming very soon for breakfasts, cakes, drinks etc. Talking about the future, in July next year we are going to be getting married here to make Mialet our forever home.
