Thank you (NOT) to the Spanish man that dumped this kitten in our carpark this morning. He told me he had found it but why would you pick it up then dump it somewhere else? 🤔 Luckily our Justine fell in love with it ❤️

💛 Another €1,000 for the Animals – Thank You, The Corner Shop, Albox!

Once again, the incredible team at The Corner Shop in Albox have shown what a difference a dedicated community can make.

This week they presented Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre with another €1,000 donation to help care for our rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.

It is an astonishing achievement.

Month after month, year after year, they continue to support the rescue centre through their fundraising, generosity and hard work. Their kindness has now contributed many tens of thousands of euros towards the care of our animals, and we simply cannot thank them enough.

Every donation, large or small, has a real impact.

It helps pay for veterinary treatment when an animal falls ill.

It helps buy the mountains of forage needed to feed over a hundred rescued equines every single day.

It helps maintain shelters, fencing, water systems and equipment.

It helps provide medication, hoof care, bedding and all the countless essentials that keep the rescue centre running.

Rescuing an animal is only the beginning.

Caring for that animal for the rest of its life is the real commitment.

Many of our horses and donkeys are elderly or have ongoing medical conditions, meaning they require specialist diets, daily medication and regular veterinary attention. Thanks to supporters like The Corner Shop team, we can continue to give every one of them the life they deserve.

If you have ever wondered how you could help, there are many ways to support the rescue centre financially.

You can make a one-off donation, sponsor one of our rescued horses or donkeys, join us through Teaming by donating just €1 per month, or even choose to leave a lasting gift through our Living Legacy programme.

Every contribution, whatever its size, helps secure the future of the animals in our care.

And if you’re not sure which option is right for you, we’d be delighted to help. Simply send us a message and a member of the team will get back to you to discuss the different ways you can support the rescue centre.

To everyone at The Corner Shop, Albox—thank you once again.

Your generosity isn’t measured only in euros.

It is measured in full hay nets, successful veterinary treatments, repaired shelters, comfortable beds and peaceful lives.

Our animals are living proof of the difference you continue to make. 💛🐴🫏
