🎶 Morning singing at the office? 🎶

At SpeedAdmin, we usually talk about how to make more time for music in Music and Arts Schools – but this time, we started the day with music ourselves.

We had the pleasure of taking part in a new initiative by Det Sønderjyske Sangcenter, testing out morning singing in a workplace setting.

A reminder that music doesn’t just belong in the classroom – it can lift the mood and bring colleagues together too.

Digital Music & Arts School
At Kulturskoledagarna 2025, SpeedAdmin’s Nordic Sales Manager, Johan André, participated in a seminar on the theme Digital Music & Arts School.

The seminar was based on a collaborative project between several major Swedish cities. Representatives from the music and arts schools in Stockholm and Gothenburg shared insights and experiences from their efforts to reach a broader and more diverse audience through digital activities.

This includes new teaching formats such as hybrid education – combining in-person and online learning – as well as new digital subjects like Creative Game Design, which has proven especially effective in engaging boys (a generally underrepresented group in Swedish music and arts schools) and children with diagnoses within the autism spectrum.

The current focus of the project is digital accessibility – exploring how digital teaching can be adapted to ensure that children and youth with various disabilities can participate fully and meaningfully.

For inspiration on hybrid teaching you can watch our Webinar with David Eriksson and Robin Petersson from Malmö Culture School who talk about their hybrid course in guitar.

In Sweden’s Music and Arts schools, engaging children and young people in shaping the activities is high on the agenda. The Swedish Council of Music and Arts Schools launched a national project where schools shared their experiences and models for student influence.

One of the key outcomes is 𝗞 𝗡 𝗨 𝗧 – Kulturskolans Nytänkande Ungas Talan ("New Thinking – Young Voices in the Music and Arts School") – a nationwide organization where students from Music and Arts schools across Sweden meet and work to strengthen youth influence in the Music and Arts school system.

𝗞 𝗡 𝗨 𝗧 also plays a central role at the annual Kulturskoledagarna event, where young voices are highlighted both on stage and in seminars.

"Culture enriches our lives, adds meaning, and helps us understand ourselves and others." – Lars Strannegård

As President of the Stockholm School of Economics, Lars Strannegård has integrated arts and culture into the curriculum to foster critical thinking, empathy, and creativity among students. Under his leadership, classrooms have been transformed into art installations, students participate in literature circles, and artists are invited to lecture.

The goal? To strengthen human skills and the ability to see the world from different perspectives — qualities that are more important than ever in an era shaped by AI. A new kind of business school, where tomorrow’s leaders are formed with both mind and heart.

During his keynote "Knowledge and Culture in a Digital Age" at Kulturskoledagarna 2025, Lars emphasized how these initiatives are guided by a clear educational mission and vision:

𝗙 𝗥 𝗘 𝗘

☑️ 𝗙act and science based mindset
☑️ 𝗥eflective and self-aware
☑️ 𝗘mpathetic and culturally literate
☑️ 𝗘ntrepreneurial and responsible
