Der er landet noget af et lineup fra finske CoolHead nede i butikken! Vi snakker hazy IPA, DIPA og sours proppet med alverdens bær og en skumfidus på toppen 🍓🫐🍡

Fire af dem er en del af deres festivalserie, og er blevet til i samarbejde med bl.a SOMA, Sand City, Garage og Elmeleven.

Så er der to sours fra deres small batch bryggeri Glass Pyramid Projects. Den ene er med blandede bær, og den anden er med rigtig mange blandede bær. Begge to er med skumfidus.

Sidst men ikke mindst har vi også fået fingrene i ‘Bäng!’, deres fødselsdags-sour, som er dejlig tyk og fyldt med passionsfrugt 🇫🇮🎁

Endnu et skarpt tilbud! De syrlige Berliner Weisse fra tyske Schneeeule er et perfekt match til sommer og sol 🍻☀️

🍻 Benedikt is out 🍻

After almost two years, the time has come for Benedikt to leave the Butik and tomorrow will be his last day with us 🌟

And since most of you know anyway that I, Benedikt, am the one writing these posts, I’ll switch into first person and say a massive THANK YOU 💚

When I started at Erlings on Monday, October 16, 2023, I had no idea what a great and meaningful time I was about to have here. A little overwhelmed at first, I quickly found my way into the craft beer world and was lucky to learn a lot from the owners. I really appreciated the trust they gave me and the opportunity to be part of something that connects so many great people 🙂

It’s been a joy getting to know so many of you, having amazing chats, laughing, and geeking out together about beer and beyond. I’m super grateful for all your visits, support, and the good times. Even though I’ll be heading back to the tourism industry, where my background and studies are, I’ll be staying in Aarhus and look forward to bumping into many of you around the craft beer scene here 🍻✨

If you feel like dropping by for one last chat or a goodbye beer, I’ll be here tomorrow. To celebrate the occasion, we’ll be pouring fresh Schönramer Pils from tap and offering 20% off all German beers 🇩🇪🍺

🍾 New Arrivals from Cantillon 🇧🇪✨

Two fresh beers from Cantillon just landed in the Butik ✨

🟡 Cuvée Saint-Gilloise
This one is a two-year-old lambic dry-hopped with fresh Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops 🌼🌿
The goal here is to strike a beautiful balance between the natural acidity of the aged lambic and the floral bitterness of refined noble hops 🍋
No fruit, no blending with young lambic. Just pure character. The secondary fermentation happens with a touch of liquid sucrose to gently kick things off in the bottle 🍺

A word from Cantillon:
"In order to preserve the subtlety of the hops, the lambics selected for Cuvée Saint-Gilloise are elegant and refined such that the balance between acidity and bitterness is not disturbed. Since there is no blending with young lambic as for gueuze, and no addition of fructose as for fruit beers, secondary fermentation of Cuvée Saint-Gilloise in the bottle is brought about by adding liquid sucrose. Like all the beers produced at Cantillon Brewery Cuvée Saint-Gilloise will keep for a very long time in a good cellar, but also like all hopped beers it is best drunk when young so as to be able to fully enjoy the floral aspect of the hops."

🍷 Nath (2024)
This is a special blend of one- and two-year-old lambics with rhubarb 🌸🍇
Zesty, tangy, fruity and with a lovely astringent finish that adds complexity and elegance. A deeply personal creation from the brewer, named after his wife Nathalie ❤️

"The Mamouche and the Lou Pépé are dedicated to my mom and dad respectively.
This blend of rhubard and Lambic being my wife Nathalie’s favorite beer, it was evident to me that I should call it "Nath" as a tribute to her.
Nath is a kindergarten teacher, so who better than her pupils to draw a picture of her for the label of the beer?"

🍺 Beer of the Week: Vridsløse Brown 🌰

This week’s Beer of the Week is Vridsløse Brown, a 4.9% brown ale from Slowburn 🍻

We’ve had a great selection of beers from Slowburn in the Butik for a while now, and it’s always a pleasure to see how they embrace a wide variety of beer styles and add depth to our lineup 🍂✨

Vridsløse Brown is a brown ale that might just be your next summer surprise. Even on warm days, a brown ale can absolutely hit the spot, refreshing, balanced and packed with classic malty goodness 🌞🍺

Clocking in at a smooth 4.9% ABV, it delivers a mellow body with a toasty, nutty malt backbone 🥜🍞 It’s the kind of beer that feels both comforting and crisp and that’s likely why it earned the Bronze Medal at the Untappd Community Awards 2024 🏅📣

🍍 New Arrivals from Mad Scientist 🧪

Fresh drops have just landed in the Butik and once again, Mad Scientist brings the heat with some smoothie sours and a bold stout 😎

🍹 Yes I Like Pina Coladas is a 5.5% Pineapple Apricot Coconut Ice Cream Sour that brings tropical characters all the way. Smooth, fruity and creamy, it balances the sweetness with a soft acidity and leaves you with a silky, refreshing finish 🥥

🍓 We Got the Moves also clocks in at 5.5% and this one is packed with strawberry, raspberry and pistachio. A dessert in a can that still keeps things fresh and funky 💃🏼🕺🏼

🥬 Saving a little on the ABV but not on the character is the CHERRY RED SMUSH. Coming in at just 3.3%, it still packs a punch with layers of sour cherry, strawberry, sweet cherry and a hint of beetroot that adds depth and colour to this brew 🍒

🌶️ Madame Kairi comes in hot at 12.4% and is part of the Tiny Barrel Project. This imperial milk stout is aged in hot sauce and mezcal barrels, offering rich stout character, subtle spicy heat and that unmistakable mezcal depth. Balanced out by milk sugar, this one is a full-on flavour experience 🔥

🍻 Fresh Arrivals from Gamma 💥

Rectenly two fresh brews from Gamma Brewing Company have landed in our fridges 🧊🍺

First up is DEVOLVE, a brand new West Coast IPA brewed with Citra, Columbus and Enigma, coming in at 6.5% 🍊🌲
Sure, NEIPAs and hazy IPAs are the go to styles for many these days, but sometimes a crisp and clean West Coast IPA is exactly what hits the spot. That clear body, that dry and bitter finish, and those resinous notes just make it the perfect refreshment on a sunny day ☀️🌊
Moreover, every now and then someone walks into the shop looking for something a little more classic, like a West Coast IPA, even if that is not the usual case.

We also just got DESIDERATA, a Hazy IPA and Gamma’s second ever organic IPA 🌱
Once again brewed together with their friends at Gyrup Malt, using their organic malts and a balanced mix of organic Chinook, Cascade and Chinook hops, also landing at 6.5%
