Six years of THE CASKHOUND — not quite grown up yet, but absolutely worth celebrating! 🥃
For this special anniversary bottling, Tilo Schnabel followed his famous nose and found the perfect cask: a young, wild 6-year-old Bowmore Single Malt, matured in a First Fill Ex-Bourbon Barrel — and distilled on the very day THE CASKHOUND was born. Talk about destiny. ⚓🌊
Expect a surprisingly fruity Islay malt, far from the usual clichés: warm, vibrant, lightly smoky and made for long evenings as the sun goes down over Loch Indaal. An Islay Sundowner in the glass. 🌅

Tomorrow in Whisky Tempel ❤️

After lots of fun at the Armagnac Festival in Stuttgart, we present you our GotA Festival Release: Pellehaut 2005 F***e Blanche.

Bottles will be available tomorrow 11:00 CEST (28.05.2026) at our partner shops!

This was the last cask, selected by all 5 original members of the team (even Leo!). It has been aging in the cellar of Pellehaut for the last few years and it might be my favorite fruity summer Armagnac of GotA so far.

This Armagnac is the perfect example, how great a F***e Blanche Armagnac can age, if the wood is kept under control. Together with the F***e Blanche Armagnacs of Danis and Poutëou, this is the pinnacle of fresh fruit bombs for me.

Of course we still like cask monsters, but after three years of intense and dark Armagnacs as festival releases, I thought it is time for a change and something much brighter. Do you recognize the pop culture connection to the label! ;)
