Japanese whisky month 🌸

is our focus this month! Japanese whisky grew incredibly in recent years also thanks to the incredible job done by Nikka! A core range able to showcase a variety of different profiles has captivated the attention of whisky lovers across the globe!

Tonight we will be hosting for an incredible tasting!

Time for a recap of our latest releases!

We recently bottled quite some new releases we couldn’t be happier about! 3 different single casks: 2 Speysiders and 1 Islay.

From the Speyside we have:

-a Glentauchers ( hidden gem of a distillery) 2008, matured for 15 years in oak casks before being finished for 9 months in a Sherry octave by the friends of , bottled at 53,5% with an intense, fruity and elegant Sherry influence.

-a Glenallachie 15yo, matured in a Sherry single cask and bottled at 53,9%, with its intense and fragrant profile fill with dark chocolate and nutty notes this is a real treat for all the Sherry lovers.

From Islay we have:

-an Islay 16yo, a gem of a single cask matured exclusively in ex-bourbon with a fantastic costal and peaty profile, a whisky with a strong personality that will surely impress all the peat lovers out there.

All the 3 releases can be found online and in the shop ( where you can also give it a try 😉).

🚨‼️ exclusive Islay single cask alert! ‼️ 🚨

It’s with immense pleasure that we announce the arrival of our latest selection! Together with the friends from we selected an incredible cask from the one and only Duncan Taylor!

An Islay 16yo!

This incredible single malt scotch whisky from Islay has matured in a single ex-bourbon cask for 16 years and it’s limited to 335 bottles with a cask strength ABV of 54,7%!

It brings simultaneously an incredible intensity mixed with elegance, salty and marine notes, bonfire, crème brûlée, brine and pastry!

As always the question arises: from which distillery is this beauty from?

We can give you a hint… a very well known Islay distillery is famous for their 16yo… which one? Exactly that one!

The new Spectacular is finally arrived!

Aged in bourbon barrels and finished in port wine casks, this 46% special release of Ardbeg will deliver:

“Fragrant notes of lavender, vetiver and incense transition into a rich almond nuttiness.

Heavy flavors like damp peat moss and wood smoke mix with creosote and tar before leather and mint chocolate give way to sweet pear crumble and salted caramel.”

The bottle is available both online and in the shop!

TARA SPIRITS EXCLUSIVE 🚨 ‼️ : Glenallachie 15yo Sherry cask!

During our last Speyside trip we selected this Glenallachie 15yo from !
A Sherry single cask distilled in 2008, non chill-filtered and non colored, bottled at cask strength, 53,9%!

This beauty is limited to 300 bottles and shows the full character of the distillery with notes of toffee, raisins, dates and leather.

Available online and in the shop where we have it open for a small taste ;)

A nice old classic: Highland Park 18yo!

This classic release from the Orkney distillery remains a heavy hitter and a favorite of many.
Heather, a hint of peat, honey and butterscotch are some of the notes you can find in this classic release, bottled at 43%

Dailuaine 16yo Flora and Fauna, a hidden gem 💎

The flora and fauna series of Diageo is dedicated to distilleries of the portfolio that have no core range.

Dailuaine is one of those Speyside distilleries that mainly end as a component of blended whisky and it’s great to have the chance to taste it as single malt.

The distillate itself is glorious, thick and flavorful thanks to the long fermentation.

This 16yo, aged in sherry casks and bottled at 43% is a superbe quality/price ratio and is dangerously easy to fall in love with

Spices, chocolate, ginger biscuits, coffee, nutmeg and cherries are some of the incredible notes you can find in this incredible single malt.

Aberlour 18yo comes back with a new mix of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks and with the 0,7 liter bottle! We opened recently the new release and we have to admit that is always stunning, we even find this new release to be improved, with deep dark chocolate-y notes from the good mix of sherry casks 🔥
