Die Idee für The WineStore entstand auf einer Reise nach Südafrika in den Semesterferien unseres Studiums. Wir (Max & Moritz) kamen auf den Geschmack – des südafrikanischen Weines und des genussvollen Lebensgefühls dieser Region. Und so fragten wir uns, warum es eigentlich so schwer sein muss, die Chenin Blancs, Pinotages oder Sauvignons aus dem untersten Zipfel Afrikas auch in unserer Heimat Münc

hen ins Weinregal sowie ins Glas zu bekommen. Genau dieser weinsinnige Gedanke und ein recht zielgerichteter Durst waren der Beginn und Anreiz für Max und Moritz ersten eigenen Streich – einen ganz auf Südafrika spezialisierten Online-Weinshop, namens The WineStore zu gründen.
