Το Γιαννούδι — μια σπάνια κυπριακή ποικιλία ερυθρού σταφυλιού, διαμορφωμένη μέσα στους αιώνες από το έδαφος, τον καιρό και την υπομονή. 🍇

Για τους Κύπριους οινοποιούς, η καλλιέργειά του δεν είναι εύκολη υπόθεση. Δεν είναι ερμαφρόδιτο και έτσι δεν αυτογονιμοποιείται, με αποτέλεσμα η παραγωγή του να είναι ασταθής κάθε χρόνο.

Μια παραδοσιακή λύση είναι να φυτεύεται μαζί με άλλες ποικιλίες που ανθίζουν την ίδια περίοδο, βοηθώντας στη γονιμοποίησή του και στην αύξηση της καρποφορίας.

Ως κρασί, το Γιαννούδι συνδυάζει φινέτσα με χαρακτήρα: ήπιες τανίνες, κόκκινα φρούτα, γήινα στοιχεία και μια δροσιστική οξύτητα.

Ιδανικός σύντροφος για κυπριακό κλέφτικο, αλλά και για φιλέτα και κόκκινα κρέατα στη σχάρα.

Το Γιαννούδι είναι κάτι παραπάνω από ποικιλία. Είναι ταυτότητα. Είναι Κύπρος — σε κάθε γουλιά.

Yiannoudin — a rare Cypriot red grape variety, shaped through the centuries by soil, climate, and patience. 🍇

For Cypriot winemakers, it’s a challenge to grow. Since it’s not hermaphrodite, it cannot self-pollinate, which leads to low and unpredictable yields. A traditional solution is to plant it alongside other varieties that bloom at the same time, helping it pollinate naturally and produce more fruit.

As a wine, Yiannoudin is refined yet expressive — with soft tannins, red fruit notes, earthy depth, and refreshing acidity. It pairs beautifully with traditional Cypriot kleftiko, and also with grilled steaks and red meats.

To us, Yiannoudin is more than a grape.
It’s identity. It’s Cyprus — in every sip.
