One date you don’t wanna miss… next week Saturday, June 28th, come meet us at the Shop and get to know Hannah Fuellenkemper, straight from Auvergne with her bags full of new wines and cuvées…

German origins, a childhood in the United States before living in England and Amsterdam, Hannah Fuellenkemper had traveled quite a lot before starting her journey in the world of natural wine, which took her from the Loire to Banyuls, from the Ardeche to the Auvergne, where she finally settles and crafts her first wines, between 2019 and 2020.

Juices with identity, colorful, lively and passionate, in the image of this young winemaker who’s already seduced us...

The sun is back, in the sky and in your glasses… ☀️

VN, GT, BB... you’ve probably already seen these bottles with their recognisable labels. Antonella Gerosa and Massimo Marchiori, originally from the north of Italy, left their native land to settle in Barcelona in the mid-1990s to be closer to the sea. Introduced to the world of winegrowing by his uncle, Massimo was destined for a career as an engineer, while Antonella worked as a decorator. After a few years in this new life, they felt the need to escape from the city and go to the countryside.

It was in Bonastre, south of Barcelona, that they found the little piece of land they had been dreaming of at the turn of the century. Old vineyards replanted with olive and almond trees by the former owners, to which Massimo and Antonella gave a new life, working to replant the original, and often forgotten, grape varieties, Sumoll, Cartoixà Vermell, Bobal... witnesses of a long viticultural history in this region of Catalonia.

Over the years, their style has been refined and refined, and their wines are found on the greatest tables, from Spain to Denmark, before setting out to conquer the rest of the world, Tokyo, Paris or even New York, true ambassadors of their adopted land.

Their wines, the result of dedicated viticulture and winemaking with minimal intervention, represent the complex beauty of the Mediterranean landscape in a glass. Saline notes, delicate fruit, aromatic herbs... wines with a holiday feel, but with unparalleled energy and freshness.

Some rare bottles still available… first come, first served!

Tanca Nica is the project of Nicoletta Pecorelli and Pantelleria native Francesco Ferreri, who tend just about 3 hectares of ancestral vines of Zibibbo, Catarratto and Pignatello on volcanic, windy hillside terraces - or “tanca nica” in the local dialect - on the wild Mediterranean island of Pantelleria, right off Sicily.

They use ultra low intervention methods, producing tiny, site specific cuvées that vividly reflect Pantelleria’s saline, sun-baked terroir. Expect complex, lively, herbal‑mineral aromatics and a distinct Mediterranean soul…

Beauties from Friuli just landed at the Shop!

Radikon’s story began in 1861 in the hills of Oslavia, Italy, where the family worked the land for generations, producing wine for their own table. In 1980, Stanko Radikon bottled his first vintage, setting in motion a quiet revolution in winemaking. Over the next decades, Radikon redefined tradition — embracing long skin contact, native grapes, extended aging, and eliminating added sulfur to let the vineyard speak for itself.

By the early 2000s, their wines had become icons of the natural wine movement, known for depth, structure, and soul. Today, the next generation continues the legacy, crafting wines that honor the past while evolving with every vintage — pure expressions of land, time, and vision.

Mark your calendar! This Saturday 14th we’re thrilled to welcome Florence Bouleaux & Pierre Andrey at the Bottle Shop for a once in a lifetime opportunity to try their wonderful craft…

Grapes harvested from friends in Alsace, Jura and Beaujolais, organic vines and hand-picked by Florence and Pierre themselves, to ensure a drastic sorting and to soak up the energy of the grapes. The harvest is brought back to Metz, first in the couple’s garage and since 2020 in their newly installed “vinerie” in the middle of Metz, a few minutes from their home. To the batches of Gamay, Riesling, Gewürz, Pinot Noir, Gris or Auxerrois brought back from the four corners of France has been added since 2015 a vineyard of barely 0.07 hectares planted with Pinot Noir, in the village of Vaux on the outskirts of Metz.

The cellar equipment is basic, a small vertical press, a few vats for transporting the wine and more than two hundred meticulously lined up and labelled dames-jeannes. Pierre’s medical precision can be felt in every detail. The vinifications are carried out naturally, without an ounce of sulphur or any other input. Grapes and time, that’s all.

Each cuvée is unique, each dame-jeanne bottled separately. A first vintage of a thousand bottles, nearly three thousand the second vintage, the style is refined and precise year after year, the reception is directly at the rendezvous, wine merchants, restaurant owners and informed amateurs sn**ch up the precious bottles.
