Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Steve Stroh, the Chief Bridge Engineer/Chief Bridge Design Lead for the Gordie Howe International Bridge! He and his wife were so lovely, and in between conversations about bridging communities, they stocked up on merchandise to show off back home in Florida.

He said he had a dream of seeing this bridge on a coffee cup one day, so he was very happy to see it on a locally made mug from Wagner Dinnerware (artwork by Allison Mistakidis)!

It’s been such a joy watching this merchandise collection bring people from both sides of the bridge closer together, at a time when it would be much easier to pull apart.

Every person we meet and every story we hear, reminds us how grateful we are for this opportunity. The future is bright in Windsor/Detroit☀️
