Today we started straight uphill. Tough climb. Another very windy day and lots of bogg which slowed us down. We walked along the top of 2 sets of mountain peaks which lends itself to some beautiful views. We arrived to beautiful town on the ocean, Waterville. We were hungry so hit O’Dwyers for dinner. Excellent. This town really is beautiful and I guess it’s jammed in the summer. 18.59km, 702m elevation and 20,100 steps. Yup…. Thirsty.

Ring of Kerry hike. Six days, 107km, 3600m of elevation and 141,406 steps. Day 1 started in Killarney. One mountain and a walk around the lake. It was a beautiful day. That was about to change.
