Impossible to come up with a caption that captures the feelings about hitting the ONE YEAR milestone but a HUGE THANK YOU feels like the umbrella within which they all fit.
This store was a major life pivot induced by two deeply personal influences:
First, the need to be able to be at CML at the drop of a dime for my t1D daughter (there have been MANY times I have had to close the shop to rip over to the school and I am beyond grateful to this community for giving me that grace and understanding to be able to do that).
And second, losing my dad too soon - working hard his whole life and robbed of the retirement era he deserved. I think he would have told me to quit my job and make sure I spend my time doing something I think is important and fun. And this is both of those things. I can see him loving this shop life just as much as I do :)
