That said, my rock mainly applies to popular culture, whereas your rock seems to shield you from any and all knowledge of the local craft beer scene.

The last weekend of the month is upon us, and today we're kickin' it old school with some local vermouths and apéritifs from here on Vancouver Island.

We'll have Cam from here from 3 - 6 PM pouring samples and answering any questions you and yours may have about the wide world of aromatised wine/mead, so if you're in the area, pop by and happy sampling!

We'll have Chateau Patache d'Aux 2018 from the Médoc open today from 3 - 6 PM, and we're sure you'll be impressed by the quality of the wine for its reasonable (for Bordeaux) price.

We'll do our best to save you a sample, but good wine always seems to run out quickly.

Today we've got the great pleasure of hosting Marion Webb from from 3 - 6 PM, as she pours the full lineup of gins from !

There's their classic Citadelle, the brighter and spritely Jardin d'Été, the polarizing Vive le Cornichon for those who love all things pickle, and the non-traditional Rouge, where Juniper doesn't take centre stage at all.

The long weekend continues, and so too do our in-store tastings!

This time around we've got a few pre-mixed and pre-canned cocktails from on offer, with enough different styles to meet the taste of just about anyone who pops by for a free sample.

So if you find yourself in the area, we're happy to share. Tasting is on from 3 - 6 PM, be there or be square!

The May long weekend is here, and we're celebrating today with an in-store tasting of various uniquely flavoured gins from !

We'll have samples of their Rose Hibiscus Gin, Lavender Mint Gin, and Old Growth Cedar Gin open from 3 - 6 PM for your sampling pleasure should you find yourself downtown.

We'll be sure to save you some, but regardless, have a lovely weekend! You've earned it.

We've got another on offer today, with their brand new Blanc de Noir available to try for those who want something rich and refined.

We've also got a new sparkling wine on offer from , their Tête de Cuvée, which is a bit more pink, fruit-forward, off-dry, and tantalizingly crowd-pleasing.

No wrong choices to be made here—they're both lovely BC sparkling wines. So come by and give 'em a try today from 3 - 6 PM.

Today we're pouring samples of from 3 - 6 PM!

Solvero's Riesling is the sort for those who appreciate the fruit, the nuance, and the subtleties that Riesling can offer, versus those looking for something cloying and easy.

Their Rosé is a celebration of Pinot Noir, all crushed flowers and fresh berries with a mildly earthy backbone to remind you of what it's made from.

But don't take our word for it, try for yourself! We'll save you a glass. 🥂

Today we're sampling Soju & Soda, a refreshing blend of Soju (a Korean spirit distilled from various grains) blended with soda (something Wize is known for being quite good at!) and packaged in an easy-to-enjoy format.

They've got two flavours on offer, Peach and Green Grape, which should be familiar to soju enthusiasts.

Forget Vodka Sodas, those are so passé - Soju & Soda is here to stay.
