In Loving Memory of Darlene Notenboom

Yesterday, we lost a beautiful part of our Saffies family.

Darlene filled our store with laughter, energy, and life every single day. She always made our customers feel welcome, appreciated and cared for. She knew practically everyone and became friends with many.

For the past seven years, Darlene poured her heart into her job and became an invaluable part of our team. She literally skipped into work each day smiling ear to ear. Her dedication, vibrant personality, and energy she brought with her each day made her someone truly unique.

She rarely sat still, except to “refuel”. Whether at work or at home, she always had a project on the go, going a mile-a-minute and putting her whole heart into it. That was just who she was — full of life, always moving, and always doing.

It is hard to believe that someone who brought so much life and laughter to those around her is no longer with us. Her absence leaves a void in our staff, our store and in the community that will not be easily filled – we miss her already.

Darlene, thank you for the past seven years, for the laughter, the memories, and for being such a special part of our team. You may have moved on, but the impact you’ve made and the memories you leave remains in our hearts.
You were, and always will be, a beautiful part of our Saffies family.

Rest peacefully, Darlene❤️
