Susumaniello rosé by the wonderful

Some people shy away from wines with names they are not familiar with..but why not embrace the spirit of the lyric from Phil.. ‘she don’t even know my name but think she likes me just the same’.

Crazy for this wine (and their red w/ same 🍇), this winery and Susumaniello!!🎶

vino ‘s gorgeous Timorasso Colli Tortonesi DOC 2019 Full bodied, viscous, beeswax, petrol, mineral, faint stone fruit.. Even more beautiful on day 2.

‘From 1611 generation to generation, we have always been independent winegrowers and harvesters in the heart of Alsace in Rorschwihr.’

All the interventions and works are directly linked to the different cosmic rhythms (astral conjunctions, planetary oppositions..) and by means of various preparations and plants such as nettle, chamomile, horsetail, valerian, bark oak, the dandelion flower ..

Rolly Gassmann offers no wines from Grand Cru terroirs, but from a set of lieux-dits such as Silberberg, Muenchreben and Plaenzerreben.

The results, ..modest masterpieces.

One of the 5 outstanding wines to be served at the Schiopetto Wine Dinner Wednesday July 30th.

Friuli Venezia Giulia is famous across the Globe for their incredible white wines for which of course is iconically known.. YET unbeknownst to some they also produce some unforgettable red wines such as the Schiopetto Rivarossa (also Blumeri which will be wine 5 at the Dinner)

It seems the Rotolo family (Owners from 2014) are achieving their mission of putting the reds of Friuli Venezia Giulia on the 🌎 wine map too.

Deep ruby red colour. Bright, fresh and savoury aromas and flavours of blueberries, flint, coffee and fresh herbs. Long and clean with soft tannins and very good clarity on the bright finish. A beautiful, very refined wine, characterised by its early attractiveness, but also by its velvet-pawed concentration and complexity - superior.de

Love that.. ‘velvet-pawed concentration and complexity’..It does make its way along the tongue like the stroll of a perfectly poised feline.
