Nestled in the gently rolling hills of Castelli di Jesi in Italy’s Marche region, Tenute San Sisto is more than a winery—it's a living testament to centuries of tradition, devotion, and terroir-driven excellence.

At the heart of the estate stands a centuries-old monastery and church dating back to 1199, once under the care of the Abbey of Sant’Elena sull’Esino. Restored in the 18th and 19th centuries with the inscription “Fide et amor restauravit” (“faith and love restored”), this timeless structure remains the spiritual soul of the winery, embodying the passion and authenticity that define every bottle.

A Focus on Pecorino and Verdicchio Excellence

Established as an independent project in 2015, Tenute San Sisto was born from a desire to highlight the unique expression of Pecorino and Verdicchio—the iconic white varietals of the Marche.

Each wine from Tenute San Sisto reflects the character of its vineyard and the meticulous craft behind its creation.

COMPANY

This passion for the art of wine-making goes back to Carlo Campagnola, who was involved at an early age in the wine trade, followed by his wife Caterina Zardini who, after the untimely death of her husband, courageously continued the business and in 1907 won the medal for the best “Vino Recciotto” at the Wine Exhibition in Verona.
