The Bersano winery and the Massimelli family have a rich history interwoven with the legacy of Arturo Bersano, a visionary winemaker. Arturo Bersano established the winery in Nizza Monferrato in the early 20th century, focusing on showcasing the potential of native grape varieties and emphasizing the importance of terroir. After Arturo's passing, the Massimelli family, led by Ugo, took over, initially with a partnership with the Soave family, and later acquired the winery entirely. Today, the Massimelli family, including Federica and her sisters, continue to manage the winery, focusing on preserving traditions while embracing innovation and sustainability.

Bersano Nirvasco Barolo 2020

Garnet red color with light orange nuances. On the nose it has a traditional setting with intense and enveloping aromas that recall spices and ripe fruit. Rich and persistent taste with soft tannins, hints of leather, licorice and pepper harmonized with notes of dried violet and ripe plum.
