I carry a depth of emotions that I'm learning to share with courage. Not because I'm stoic, but because I'm discovering the power of articulating feelings that make me uniquely me. People ask if I'm okay, and I say yes because it's a chance to reflect on my unbreakable spirit. The truth is I'm growing in profound ways every day, and I'm learning to express myself with unapologetic authenticity. So I take a deep breath. I keep moving forward with purpose. I acknowledge the hurt and let it fuel my triumphant journey. I wish someone could understand my silent strength, but for now, staying true to myself feels more empowering than seeking validation. It’s been one month since I lost my store. Not due to poor management. Not due to lack of support.
This was not supposed to be the way my story ended. I miss everyone so much. The days are long and lonely. But I will keep fighting for what’s right, and I will rise above adversity.

Good morning and Happy Easter! Well guys, this was not the way I planned to be spending Easter. Instead of enjoying time with family we will be trying to clean out the space we have called home for 5 years. I am reaching out to share the sad news that Forest Green Liquor will be closing its doors on Monday April 6th at midnight.

We were notified Thursday afternoon that we had 3 days to vacate the premises. A very long story short, our landlord failed to invoice us correctly for the last couple of years. And is now saying we are in breech of our contract due to his negligence. We agreed to pay the money in installments even though we are not legally responsible for his mistake or owing him the money. This was still not enough for him. Between him and his realtor they put us out like yesterdays trash. Does he care that they just destroyed a small family business? He should know as he was a former business owner! Does his realtor care? Or is he just in it for the money?

I'm sorry. I'm mad. I'm sad. I'm heartbroken. Serving you all has been the highlight of my business. I will always cherish the conversations, the relationships, and the community we built together. ❤️

I hope you will stop in to say goodbye before our final day. Thank you for your patronage over the last 8 years. Thank you for your understanding and please know I fought a fight I never should have been in. This is not how I wanted to go out.

I love and will miss you all!!! 😢💔💔💔
