**Big shoutout to our local Hydro crews! 💡🙏**
Power is finally back on here after being out since 6 PM yesterday.
A massive thank you to the crews who worked through the night and all morning in the aftermath of yesterday’s windstorm to get us back up and running.
We truly appreciate your hard work and dedication to the community!
Time to reset the clocks and get back to business. Hope everyone else in the area is staying safe and getting their lights back on soon! 🛠️🔌

A really special stop at the store this week!
Tyson (28) rolled through Eagle Lake Narrows as part of his solo walk across Canada on the Trans Canada Trail—a journey he started in BC on May 2, 2025.
This stop marked a huge milestone... one full year on the road!
Even better, Eagle Lake / South River isn't just another place on the map for him. His grandparents have a cottage on Eagle Lake, and he's been coming to the Eagle Lake Narrows Country Store since he was 5 years old. Pretty amazing to come back here during a cross-country walk.
