Friday May 26, 2023 was Ed Sanchuk's last day on the job for the Norfolk County O.P.P detachment. The official spokesperson and police voice for Norfolk County, O.P.P. Special Constable Ed Sanchuk, has been promoted to "Sergeant", and will be transferred to the O.P.P. West Region, responsible for Community Service Programs, while overseeing Media Relations for OPP in that district. How fortunate Norfolk County has been under Ed's watch. Here he's attending the Warrior's Day Parade at the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show with his close friend, now deceased, Art Hayward. RIP. (photo compliments of the Port Dover Maple Leaf newspaper) Mr. Sanchuk has always been a true gentleman, always approachable, always dedicated and truly caring for Norfolk County. As of Monday May 29th, Sergeant Ed Sanchuk will be working from his new location in London Ontario. They've sure got the right officer for this job. Wow, congratulations Ed !!!

Leader in Training (LIT) program!! We are looking for teens ages 13-15 that want to learn core leadership skills! ⁣⁣

➡️ Figuring out what good leaders SAY and DO⁣⁣⁣⁣
➡️ Practicing SAYING and DOING those things⁣⁣⁣⁣

This program is active, hands-on and full of opportunities to learn about leadership, leading kids, and the basics of coaching gymnastics. Participants will combine games & leadership workshops with about 4 hours of volunteering with our evening program. It's the perfect place to apply what we are learning!
