Metallo's Mini Mart is looking to fill one part-time position. An ideal candidate would require excellent customer service skills, cash handling, maintaining inventory, as well as general upkeep. Previous experience with lottery is a great asset.

We still have plenty of Rotary Take Your Pick draw tickets! Sales close TOMORROW! Tickets are $20 each (cash only, ATM on-site). $85,000 would make an excellent Christmas gift 🎅🏻🎄

Online tickets are SOLD OUT!

The Take Your Pick Draw raises money for important causes in our community. Proceeds from last year’s Take Your Pick Draw have helped organizations such as THRIVE Child Development, Sault Area Hospital Foundation, Group Health Centre, and Rotary’s high school and post-secondary scholarships; and allowed four local students to represent Algoma at the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Ottawa.

This evening I had the pleasure to meet one of our favourite customers, Dax, who recently celebrated his 8th birthday. After finding out Dax had his eye on our Sidney Crosby display, I just had to give it to him! We also sent him home with a couple of treats to snack on while watching the Blue Jays play tonight!

The Trembinski family is thrilled to announce….

METALLO’S MINI MART IS BACK!

We would like to thank the entire community for their outpouring of support to our family. For those who haven’t heard, Gary Trembinski Sr unexpectedly passed away October 8th, 2025. “Lumpy” proudly owned and operated Metallo’s Mini Mart for over 20 years.

Metallo’s is more than a typical convenience store. Gary wanted it to be a social hub for the community - a goal he very quickly achieved. Gary wanted his customers to feel at home when they came into the store.

We’re so excited to announce that we will be back to regular hours, starting Monday October 27th. Gary’s youngest son, Glen will be handling day-to-day operations, with assistance from the family, as well as all of the staff of Metallo’s.

I am looking forward to catching up with my Dad’s pals, and maybe even hear some new stories about my Dad. For those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him, you know he always left a memorable impression!

Thank you again for your never-ending support Sault Ste Marie - we can’t wait to see you!
