Our Story

Hoff Insurance might have a new name, but the name and the history of Hoff will continue to live and thrive with Harvard Western Insurance. In 2018, Harvard Western Insurance and Hoff Insurance joined forces to create a bigger and better family of experienced advisors. In 2019, the Hoff Insurance offices officially took on the name Harvard Western Insurance and thus the Harvard Western Insurance Liquor Store was born!

Our store in Rouleau has been known by many names, from Hoff to Harvard, one of the most recognizable names for our business is “Dog River Liquor Store.” The place where you get your booze…and your insurance.

But Dog River isn’t the only place you can buy your beer and insure your home. Our office in Yellow Grass also has a store in it. We are proud of our story, of our town, and of our people. We hope to continue to provide the wonderful towns of Rouleau and Yellow Grass with quality booze while also supporting some local liquor providers.
