As the new owners of the Geny we have some exciting plans underway, including new products, services, and fresh opportunities for the right people to grow with us.
We’re currently looking for a mature, dependable, responsible, and self-motivated team member who takes pride in their work and understands the value of showing up, staying busy, and helping wherever needed.
This is an active, hands-on position that includes:
• Operating the till and assisting customers
• Restocking shelves, coolers, and liquor inventory
• Lifting cases of w**e, b**r, and other products (some heavy lifting required)
• General cleaning duties including sweeping and mopping
• Jumping in where needed and taking initiative without constant supervision
Ideal candidate:
• Physically capable and comfortable being on their feet for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and honest
• Works well independently and as part of a small team
• Friendly, mature, and professional with customers
• Retail, liquor, grocery, café, or customer service experience is an asset, but attitude and work ethic matter most
Compensation:
Starting wage: $19/hour
Opportunity to increase to $20 or more per hour based on skill, performance, reliability, and overall commitment during, or before, the 3 month probation period.
