During renovations:

Indigo. Not made in Mexico, not called Tequila! Did you know Sperling Silver Distillery (now Queen City Distillery) had to get permission from Mexican authorities to use the name ‘Tequila’ on their labels? ‘Tequila’ is a Protected Designation of Origin, similar to a protected trademark. These regulations ensure Tequila is consistently produced to a high standard using blue weber agave and only distilled in specific regions of Mexico.

Sperling Brandy is produced here in Regina, Saskatchewan with organic Riesling grapes grown in the Niagara region in Ontario. Aged at least 4 years in wine barrels, this traditional brandy is classified as VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale).
