To everyone who has applied for Nerd Expo, please read the following carefully:

Wait for an official invoice: If you have applied, please wait to hear directly from us. We have not sent out any E-Transfer requests.

Scammer Alert & System Lockdown: It seems we were targeted by scammers again, which triggered a temporary lockdown on our account.

We are back up and running! I am currently working my way through all the applications and messages now that access is restored.

🔒 What we are doing: We have already implemented extra security steps and keyword moderation tools on our page to automatically block and prevent these scam accounts from commenting on our posts.

⚠️ PROTECT YOURSELF: If you receive a suspicious message or payment request and are unsure if it’s actually us, do NOT send money.

The Central AB Nerd Expo SMASHED expectations — and it’s all because of you.

🎟️ 3,100 – 3,200 attendees at just $4 (FREE in cosplay!)
🦸 Sunday... 1 in 6 guests in full cosplay. The halls felt like a major con.
🃏 MTG Commander & Beyblade tournaments SOLD OUT.
🎭 Cosplay Masquerade TRIPLED in size by Sunday.
🎲 Massive shoutout to FallCon — packed tables all weekend.

Vendors were blown away. Many are already locked in to help us grow even bigger.

Best part? So many first-timers found their people.
