🤠 A LITTLE LONGHORN STYLE… made by YOU!

How about a handmade gift with a little ranch personality? Try these DIY Longhorn earrings! 🎁

You’ll need:
• Two lightweight, precut wooden Longhorn earring blanks with holes
• Acrylic paint and a brush
• Two jump rings and two earring hooks
• Small jewellery pliers

🎨 Paint both sides of your Longhorns, letting each side dry. Go classic black, turquoise, or whatever suits your style!

🔗 Using your pliers, twist each jump ring open sideways, thread it through the wooden blank and the loop on the earring hook, then twist it closed so the ends meet snugly.

🎁 Pop them onto a little gift card—and try not to keep them for yourself! 😉

🤠 A LITTLE LONGHORN CHARM… made by YOU!

Try this dollar-store-inspired project for a little ranch style at home!

You’ll need:
🎨 A wooden craft plaque
🎨 Cream and black acrylic paint
🎨 A Longhorn silhouette to trace
🎨 Twine and a paintbrush

Paint your plaque cream and let it dry. Trace your Longhorn, fill it in with black paint, then let it dry before adding a twine bow and hanger.

Want that rustic look? Lightly sand the painted edges!

There you have it—your own little piece of Longhorn décor. ❤️

🥩❄️ WHAT EXACTLY IS FREEZER BURN?

Ever pulled something out of the freezer and wondered what those dry, discoloured spots are?

That’s freezer burn. It happens when frozen food loses moisture and is exposed to air. It doesn’t automatically make the food unsafe, but it can affect the texture, colour and flavour.

That’s one reason we love having our OTR beef vacuum sealed — reducing air exposure helps protect the quality while it’s tucked away in your freezer.

💡 Freezer tip: Keep your freezer at -18°C (0°F) or colder, and check packages occasionally for damaged or broken seals.

Have you ever found something hiding in the bottom of your freezer and thought, “How long has THAT been in there?” 😂
