They just walked in and took it— like it was theirs.

For big corporations, this might be a small loss. But for a small business like ours, even a minor robbery means a major hit to our daily earnings. It’s discouraging… frustrating… and leaves us feeling helpless.
A convenience or takeout store like ours operates on just 3–7% profit margins in this economy. That means…

When someone steals from us, even “a few things” — it’s not small for us.
It adds up fast.

In just one month, we’ve been robbed multiple times. Some we’ve caught on camera, but many others… we didn’t even notice until inventory was short or cash was missing.

💸 Estimated losses this month = $600
To make that back, we have to sell over $8,000–$20,000 worth of product. That’s weeks of work gone.

Our only real defense? Bringing these incidents to public attention.
We’re sharing this so you can stay alert and protect your own.

We know we’re not alone. There are hundreds of small businesses across NL dealing with the same nightmare — petty theft today, armed robbery tomorrow. Just last Sunday, it could’ve been much worse. For a few dollars or a case of beer, someone is willing to put our staff, customers, family and friends in danger.

To whoever did this — we know it’s not the real you. It’s the drugs inside you, clouding your judgment. We feel sorry for you. But we can’t just let it go.

You have to stop this. Not just for us — for the entire community.

We urge our local leaders: NL’s laws need to protect small businesses and good, ordinary people.
We’re doing our best — working nights, holidays, weekends. Please, help us feel safe doing that.
