Tiki Weekend starts today

We’re bringing the tropical mood to Copperpenny from May 22–24 with a special cocktail lineup, weekend features, and a very good excuse to wear your loudest shirt.

On the menu:

Skidegod — akvavit, falernum, passion fruit, and ginger beer.
Proper Channels — gin, orgeat, coconut, blue curaçao, and lime.
Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri — strawberry, vanilla, Angostura, lime, and tonic.

Tiki shirts encouraged.

Tiki Weekend is coming to Copperpenny 🍹

From May 22–24, we’re bringing the tropical mood to the distillery with tiki cocktails, weekend specials, and a very good excuse to wear your loudest shirt.

Come by, bring your people, and don’t forget your tiki shirt.

The Ember Negroni 🥃👇

Smoke, bitter citrus, sweet vermouth, and that classic Negroni bite — with a Copperpenny twist.
Ember Smoked Gin brings a dry, campfire-smoke edge to this classic cocktail, balanced by Campari and sweet vermouth for something rich, bold, and just a little unexpected.

Recipe:
1.5 oz / 45ml Copperpenny Ember Smoked Gin
1.5 oz / 45ml Campari
0.25 oz / 7.5ml Averna or Sweet Vermouth

Mix ingredients in mixing vessel with ice, stir for 10 seconds to chill.
Strain over single king ice cube in a rock glass. Express fresh orange peel over drink surface, or add fire-seared pear, garnishing over cube.

Try it at the distillery, or make it at home with a bottle of Ember.

We’re taking a short break to film something truly special.

Our Founders are getting back to their roots again and May 13th, we’re putting the “action” in “lights, camera, action” and the “closed” in… well… “we’re closed.” Hollywood North called, and we answered (don’t worry, we’ll still be humble about it).

Thanks for putting up with a day of star-chasing — we’ll be back before you even have time to miss us. When we return the very next day, we’ll be right back to doing what we love — hosting you — just with a little extra sparkle in our eyes.

Our on-line bottle shop will still be open and deliveries will continue without delay.

We’re so excited to share that our space will be hosting a private event this Saturday.

Because of this, the lounge will be closed to our regular guests for the day - but don’t worry, the good vibes are only on a brief pause…

We’ll be back and ready to welcome you on Sunday at 2PM, and trust us, it’ll be worth the wait. Think cozy corners, your favorite drinks, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay just a little longer.
