**A Heartfelt Message to Our Community**
This past Sunday, between 5:00 and 5:30 PM, an unfortunate incident occurred at Young’s Mini Mart & Gas Station. A group of six young individuals(all between the ages of 15 and 17) waited outside for nearly 15 minutes before rushing through the employee entrance and into our v**e section, grabbing as much as they could carry.
At the time, only two of our female employees were working. Despite being caught off guard, one of them bravely tried to stop the group. Meanwhile, a customer named Mr. Carl, who was at the gas pumps, noticed something was wrong. He quickly told his wife to call 911 and stayed on site to take photos and help however he could. Thanks to their quick thinking, police arrived just in time.
We provided video footage and other evidence to the officers, and by Tuesday, we were informed that all six individuals had been identified and taken into custody.
This situation reminded us how quickly things can happen and how much we rely on each other in moments like these. We’re proud of our employee’s courage and grateful to Mr. Carl and his wife for stepping up when it mattered.
