NEVER BUY JEWELLERY CLEANER AGAIN!

Ingredients
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon dish detergent
1 cup water
1 piece aluminum foil

Directions:
1. Heat water in the microwave for 1 or 2 minutes.
2. Cut a piece of aluminum foil that roughly covers the bottom of a small bowl (like a cereal bowl).
3. Pour hot water into bowl. Place salt, soda, and dishwashing liquid into bowl. Place jewelry on top of foil and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse jewelry in cool water and dry jewelry completely with soft cloth. Discard solution after use and make a new batch next time.
4. According to wire-sculpture.com, "this works well for gold-filled, brass, german (nickel) silver, and sterling silver.

I have even cleaned jewelry with freshwater pearls, shell cameos and mother of pearl with no problem.".
Pearl necklaces or bracelets.
**f your pearls are visibly stained, you can mix a solution of lukewarm water and mild dish soap, dip a soft cleaning cloth in it and wipe the pearls. Do NOT submerge a pearl necklace in water, as it will weaken the silk thread.

Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
3 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 cups rhubarb, red, 1 inch slices
1 1/4 cups sugar or sugar subsititute
1 1/2 cups strawberries, fresh, sliced
1/4 cup enriched flour
1 9" pastry crust with lattice top
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
Combine eggs, sugar, flour, salt, and nutmeg; mix well.
Combine rhubarb and strawberries.
Line 9" pie plate with pastry; fill with fruits.
Pour egg mixture over.
Dot with butter.
Top with lattice crust, crimping edge high.
Bake at 400 degrees about 40 minutes.

Unbelievably frustrating. My gradfather recently agreed to go into a nursing home. More specifically, Monarch Hall in Riverview, which is owned by Shannex ltd. The company initially charged my grandfather’s bank account approximately 4500$ back in the end of October. We have called their financial department over 10 times, with no returned calls. We have sent over 12 emails, with again no answer. The province advised us that Shannex was not allowed to take this money out of his account as the province subsidizes the majority of the monthly rent. Now Shannex have sent us his monthly statement (keep in mind they still never responded to our calls or emails) and they are now trying to take 3500$ out of his banking account, forcing his account to bounce because he simply doesn’t have enough funds in his account.

I have no other choice but to go on social media and hope that this gets shared enough times to get their attention.. Putting a loved one in a nursing home is suppose to be re-assuring, knowing that they are getting the care that they need and deserve. Ever since my grandfather has moved in the nursing home owned by Shannex, it has caused panic and feelings of being overwhelemed by my family, as my grandfather doesn’t have the funds that they are trying to illegally take out of his account.. please share this post and let’s make them accountable!!!
