🎄 Watercolour Christmas Cards Workshop — Saturday, November 21

Get into the holiday spirit with a festive card-making workshop led by Suzanne D**e!
Using simple techniques and festive templates, Suzanne will guide you through creating your own original Christmas cards — each one a unique piece of art to share with someone special. You'll explore colour blending, brushwork, and design composition while learning how templates can help bring your ideas to life. Each participant leaves with four original art cards, complete with envelopes. No experience necessary, all materials are included — just bring your creativity and holiday cheer!

🌸 Dried Flower Painting Workshop — Sunday, November 15

Join Brenda Kerton of Forty Hills Farm & Flowers for a beautiful afternoon creating the perfect blend of a watercolour/pen background and a real dried flower garden!

Using 11x14" canvas boards, you'll paint a background — anything from a simple wash to a fence or wherever your imagination leads — then set it in a rustic frame and glue on dried flowers and grasses for a finished 3D "painting." No experience necessary, all supplies are included.

🎨 Feature Artist Friday — Kim McKellar

This week we're featuring Kim McKellar, a glass artist, ceramic artist, and poet from the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula, whose fused glass landscapes, ceramics, and poetry you'll find in the shop!

For Kim, art has always been about connection — she creates out of a vision of a world full of possibility and hope, and of the many ways we're offered to be in relationship with each other and the earth. A painter for over 30 years, she fell in love with glass more than 15 years ago, drawn to its interplay with light and texture and the way layered colours reveal the unexpected. Her glass landscape panels are built up layer by layer and fired multiple times, creating images that capture not just the physical landscape but something of the spirit of the land. Kim draws inspiration for all her work from the beauty and sacred spirit of the Bruce.

Come watch watercolour artist Lin Souliere at work in our front exhibit room, right where her and Carl Bell's duo exhibit The Land in Two Voices is on display. Drop in anytime this afternoon to see her process unfold — we'd love to see you there!

🏺 Textured Pottery Workshop — Thursday, October 15

Join us for a beginner pottery class led by Nicole Gamble! Using pre-rolled slabs, you'll press vintage doilies, leaves, flowers and stamps into clay to create 3 medium dishes, 3 small dishes and 3 pendants. At the end of the night, you'll choose a glaze colour for each piece, and your finished work will be ready for pick-up or delivery about 2 weeks later.
No experience needed, and all materials are included.

🎨 A Painting Demonstration by Lin Souliere — Friday, October 16th

Join us for a special afternoon as watercolour artist Lin Souliere paints live in our front exhibit room — the very space where her and Carl Bell's duo exhibit, The Land in Two Voices, is on display!

Watch Lin work her watercolour-on-canvas process from start to finish, drawing on the shapes, patterns, and light of the landscape. It's a rare chance to see how her striking pieces come to life, and to experience the exhibit alongside the artist herself.
