Join us this evening for an all Canadian lineup where East meets West.

From Ontario's Niagara Peninsula we are pouring the Vineland Estate Unoaked Chardonnay. This is a prototypical Canadian Chardonnay; fresh, bright,and with a wonderful nose bursting with citrus; the palate offers beautiful richness while never feeling heavy or clumsy. A real surprise for us!

From British Columbia's Okanagan Valley we have Blasted Church Syrah. A lighter weight style of Syrah as compared to Aussie Shiraz, the w**e still brings good weight and richness to warm the bones on a chilly Friday night.

I'm sure you've seen our stories over the last couple days, but if not, here is a proper post to get you excited about this afternoons *free* w**e tasting !

We have special guest Mary Taylor, all the way from New York, here from 4pm until 6pm today Thursday the 15th, to pour SEVEN different w**es and talk about them !

True, Mary does not make these w**es, she selects them from small, talented, and ambitious producers from around Europe. Often these w**emakers don't have international recognition or distribution, but this process helps lend their voices to the world !

We will be tasting these THREE w**es today to help you decide what you need for your Thanksgiving Dinners ! And two of them are NEW to the store

-Hexamer- "Eisendell Auf Der Südseite"
Riesling Trocken (Dry) 🇩🇪
Classic German dry Riesling, perfect for ham, turkey, or basically anything

-Catherine Marshall- "Pinot Noir on Sandstone Soils" 🇿🇦
A truely incredible effort in Burgundian style, produced in South Africa, grown on Sandstone. We just keep finding more compelling w**es from SA. This is yet another !

-Mary Taylor Selections- Cahors
100% Malbec produced by Odile Delpon 🇫🇷
If you've only had Malbec from Argentina or Chile, this will be a mind opening experience ! Fresh and directed.

Hey folks !

Two NEW and exciting w**es to the store will be featured today as well !

Mary Taylor w**es are sourced from different locations around Europe, bringing smaller producers to the world market. Although she does not make these w**es, working with smaller growers to curate a fantastic selection, these are real terroir focused, time and place w**es.

-Anjou Blanc- 100% Chenin Blanc made by Pascal Biotteau in Saint-Jean-Des-Mauvrets in the Loire Valley. Gorgeously subtle example of clean fresh Chenin Blanc.

- Navarra- 100% Tempranillo made by Maria Cruz Garcia in Corella. No oak, fresh, lively and expressive. Steel tank fermentation for bright and clean vibes.

As always, you should stop by between 2:30 and 7:30 today to discover new and wonderful things !

Autumn Scotch Tasting Series WEEK TWO ! 🥳

Last week, we were overwhelmed with the turnout, and the overall excitement for 2026 Scotch Series, especially concerning the reaction to the Càrn Mòr Glentauchers, which completely sold out !

To expand on that theme, we decided to grab as much Càrn Mòr as we could for this weeks tasting!

●Glen Moray- Virginia Oak Finish 2013 / 8 year

●Craigellachie- European Oak 2013 / 8 year

●Strathmill- Sherry Butt Finish 2016 / 7 year

●Inchgower- 1st Fill Bourbon 2016 / 5 year
.... because we were only able to get 4 other expressions, we are also featuring....

●Loch Lomond- Peated Rioja Cask

-Armand Heitz- "Parcelle Interdite" Sauv Blanc 🇫🇷
100% Sauv Blanc made in.... Burgundy ? That's right folks. Breaking some official rules, this technically has to be "Vin de France", but secretly this is the least expensive bottle of Meursault you will ever taste !

-Bodegas Guímaro- Joven Mencia 🇪🇸
Is is from Ribeira Sacra, northwest Spain. The grape is 100% Mencia, a variety that is slowly becoming a favourite around here. Joven meaning young, this sees no oak, and presents in an incredibly bright and lively way. Expect to fall in love !

We know you all are excited about Scotch season, but don't sleep on these w**es !
