Today we announce that Gridiron Brewing taproom will close after our final day on Sunday, August 30th, marking the end of a space built with heart, grit, and community.
We are closing a chapter, but not the entire book. The brewery continues on. In the coming weeks, you’ll start finding Gridiron Brewing cans in southern NB ANBL stores, and kegs will remain available for restaurants and bars.
Gridiron Brewing began with a dream, Luke’s dream, and we’re grateful for the vision, determination, and heart he poured into creating this place as our owner and head brewer. His creativity and craftsmanship shaped Gridiron Brewing. A huge shout out to his family and his kids that sacrificed time and pitched in to help out - best kiddos ever.
Two people helped define the taproom itself: Lauren, our bartender, whose presence made it warm, welcoming, and familiar, and Josh, whose brewing talent helped bring Luke’s recipes, and some of his own, to life.
To the Hampton community, thank you for showing up for us. To our regulars: the Tuesday Trivia crew, the Friday after‑work crowd, and the Sunday Crib Crew — you brought life, laughter, and loyalty to this space. Our Open Mic Nights with Zack, along with all the Friday night musicians who shared their talent with us, filled the taproom with music, connection, and unforgettable nights. Thank you for bringing your voices, your instruments, and your energy to Gridiron Brewing.
And to everyone who helped build this taproom — through investing, construction, all the fantastic food trucks, helping lift or transport things, provide artwork for display, work on signage, posing for social media, building our website or by simply showing up to lend a hand whenever it was needed, we thank you. Your contributions shaped the look, feel, and soul of this place.
The taproom doors may close, but Gridiron beer, and the community behind it, carries forward.
