ππ» That's a wrap on Trail of Terror 2026 β And what a fun night it was! π»π We think this year's event was the best yet (but we say that every year)
Between 4 and 9:30 PM on Friday night, we welcomed around 2500 people to this yearβs Trail of Terror for spooks, treats, games and laughs --- Mother Nature even brought some rain, lightning and thunder for a surround-sound experience.
It's a tonne of work but our Team is so very proud of what can do when we work together β€οΈ
π We cooked 2,500 hotdogs
𧑠We saw the largest crowds we've ever seen in the earlier times
π° We changed the main area location and we added more... larger kids section and more decorations on the trail.
π And we significantly reduced the wait times with a new entrance and exit into the trails.
I'd say that is a huge success! π
β This is all thanks to our Southern Plains Co-op Team, volunteers, and community partners who spend months planning this free, family-friendly night of Halloween fun for everyone to enjoy.
We'd also like to send a huge thank you to our local supporters for helping make this event possible:
β’ Woodlawn Regional Park β The use of Rotary Hall, Cossette Park, Fresh Air Fitness and a section of Preddy Trails
β’ SmartPower β donation of lights and generators
β’ Motivated Moving - for the donation of time and man-power to move decorations and the use of their 22ft enclosed trailer.
β’ SteamEst β providing clean, portable washrooms
β’ GFL β donation of garbage bin for cleanup
β’ Angela Clements β DJ services and spooky sounds
β’ Estevan Fire & Rescue β parking and traffic control
β’ Chris Davis β donation of bales for photo area
β’ Linda Bartschat / Just Photography By Linda for documenting our event with all of these amazing photos
β’ And the MANY volunteers who make this community event come to life each year including members of the Estevan Kinettes and U18AAA Estevan Bears!
