A petition has been brought into the store following this week’s accident at the intersection.

Many people in the community have expressed concern about safety in this area, and a petition is now available in-store calling for a flashing beacon to be installed at the intersection.

If you’d like to support the petition, please stop in and add your signature.

*** DIESEL LEAKING ***
Rainham Road between Sweet Corners Road and South Cayuga Road in Haldimand County is CLOSED following a serious collision in the area. OPP and emergency services are on the scene. There is diesel leaking in the area because of the collision. Please avoid the area. Do not go around road closed signs.

Unfortunately, due to a theft that occurred today around 2:00 PM, we will now be keeping things locked.

A gentleman in a white car came into the store, paid for one bag of ice, then helped himself to multiple additional bags and left before we could get outside.

Because of this, customers will now need to ask staff to unlock the cooler when purchasing ice, wood, propane etc.

We apologize for the inconvenience to our honest customers, and we appreciate your understanding and continued support of our small business.

If you happen to follow our Facebook sir , it would be greatly appreciated if you would come in and pay for the additional bags you’ve taken.
