Islay Cask Rye Whisky (50% abv.)
Aged entirely in an ex-Islay Scotch Whisky cask, this whisky offers a unique fusion of spicy rye and smoky Islay character. This whisky is ideal for those who appreciate bold rye flavors and the distinctive character of Islay Scotch. As for where the cask came from, if you guessed the oldest distillery on Islay, we’d beg to differ!
Double Oak Rye: Rum Cask Edition (46% abv.)
This whisky blends the robust character of rye with the tropical richness imparted by rum cask aging, resulting in a smooth and complex drinking experience. Crafted from a mash bill of 100% rye grain, this whisky begins its aging process in a combination of American oak and Cowichan red wine casks, followed by a final maturation in Barbados rum casks. This unique finishing stage adds a sweet, rich depth to the whisky, creating an intricate flavor profile of tropical fruits, rye spice, caramel and molasses.
