We understand that many of you have complaints about our gas prices, and we sincerely apologize for the difference compared to larger cities like Red Deer.
it’s difficult to sell at a loss as a small local business
Gas stations in larger cities receive deliveries almost daily due to higher fuel volume, which allows them to adjust prices frequently. In smaller towns like ours, we place orders weekly or sometimes less often. This makes it harder to update prices immediately to reflect market changes. The price we receive is higher, and we have been in ongoing discussions with Parkland to find a solution.
We are doing everything we can to keep our prices in line with Red Deer, but it’s difficult to sell at a loss as a small local business. We understand how frustrating this can be – we’re part of this community too, and this is not the experience we want for our customers.
Please know that we are working hard to improve the situation and will continue to strive for better results. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
