We are heartbroken to share that Molly passed away peacefully last Sunday, October 18, around 11:25 AM.
We adopted Molly when she was about 1.5 years old. She had a rough start in life, as we learned during that time she spent her days in a crate in a basement all by herself. We figure that explained a lot of Molly's anxiety.
Luckily we had nearly 16 years with her and she never spent a single day away from our family.
She was a resilient girl, staying strong and healthy even after two major surgeries. True to her loyal spirit, she was still working as the store's *top security dog* right up until the day before she passed. We are very grateful her passing was peaceful and swift.
Thank you to everyone who loved Molly throughout the years. Special thanks to those who always brought her treats, adored her even when she barked her heart out, and sent thoughtful cards, beautiful flowers, and condolences.
Molly had her quirks and feisty personality, but she was fiercely lovable and protective. Both our store and our home will feel so much quieter now. She was the best girl. Thank you for reading.
