After 40 years of running Ali’s General Store, Sam would like to thank all of the wonderful patrons who have supported us throughout the years. He would also like to thank his past and present employees who took part in the journey along with him.

Over the years, Ali’s General Store has been known as a meeting place in Blockhouse, which he hopes will continue as it transitions to the new owners of Aki’s Convenience Store, Akshay & Vikit. We're thrilled to witness the new owners breathe renewed energy into the store, which will surely complement the growing business community of Blockhouse!

They will be keeping all of the great things you have grown to love (including the staff) and adding their own touches to take the store to new levels. Stay tuned for a grand opening in the near future.
