My heart and soul are overflowing with gratitude.

As I decompress for a minute after an incredible farmers market I can’t help but feel so very blessed to have the opportunity to make bread for all of you.

This is so much more than bread, it’s a community supporting itself, it’s weekly check ins, it’s smiles, it’s laughter, sometimes it’s tears, it’s a place to be seen, heard and most definitely fed.

What a wild and windy market today. A huge shoutout to everyone that helped keep my tent on the ground while buying bread. I was worried that the weather was going to scare you off but you all showed up big time. We packed up and I only had 4 breads left and one apple crumble that I was very happy to take home.

Thank you for your continued and unwavering support, it brings me great joy to serve your beautiful community.

To answer the question from earlier, the total number of sourdough loaves I made was 49. With a grand total of 90 loaves that I made for market. An extra thank you to everyone that played along and won a prize.

Now, it’s nap time for this sleepy bread lady. When I get up I’ll start thinking about next weeks menu.

A huge thank you to everyone that came out to the first outdoor market yesterday.
You sold me out so fast, which gave me a chance to have a quick nap then take Rhubarb on a sunset adventure.
I am headed to Barrie to pick up an oven and ingredients for next week.
