Harvest has been in full swing at Meldville, and it has been an exciting week both in the vineyard and the cellar. 🍇

The first Chardonnay of the season has been picked, marking another important step in this year’s harvest. Our Pinot Noir has also made its way from the vineyard to the cellar, where it is now happily fermenting. We are incredibly pleased with the fruit coming in. The quality has been excellent, the flavours are showing beautifully, and each pick is giving us even more reason to feel optimistic about the w**es ahead.

There is still plenty of work to be done, but the 2026 vintage is already beginning to tell its story—and we are looking forward to seeing where it leads.

Join us at Legends Estate W**ery this Saturday, September 12 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM as we officially introduce five new Meldville w**es.

The new collection includes two Chardonnays from Grimsby Hillside Vineyard, our 2025 Bock Vineyard Viognier and two Cabernet Francs from Grimsby Hillside Vineyard | Block 275 and Picone Vineyard. Special release-weekend pricing will be available on select w**es, so it is a great opportunity to taste the new lineup and bring a few bottles home.

We will also be pouring our 2023 Syrah, recently awarded Double Gold at the All Canadian W**e Championships, with special pre-release pricing available for the day.

There will be even more happening at the w**ery, with Legends also showcasing its new MAKR w**es.

There will be even more to taste when we celebrate our new releases on September 12. Along with the five new w**es joining the Meldville lineup, we will be giving guests an early taste of our 2023 Syrah, which recently earned a Double Gold Medal at the All Canadian W**e Championships.

The Syrah will be available at a special pre-release price that day, giving you the chance to try it before its official release while also exploring the newest Chardonnay, Viognier and Cabernet Franc additions to the collection.

The new labels are here, and now we can finally introduce the w**es behind them. Our September release includes five new w**es: two 2024 Chardonnays from Grimsby Hillside Vineyard, including a special Frontier Block bottling; our 2025 Viognier from Bock Vineyard; and two 2024 Cabernet Francs from Grimsby Hillside Vineyard | Block 275 and Picone Vineyard.

There is plenty of variety across the lineup, from fresh Chardonnay with orchard fruit and citrus, to floral and stone-fruited Viognier, and Cabernet Franc showing bright fruit, herbal character and spice.

Something new is coming to Meldville this September. We are getting ready to release five new w**es, all with a fresh new look. The lineup brings together Chardonnay, Viognier, and Cabernet Franc from several Niagara vineyard sites.

The new w**es will make their debut on Saturday, September 12, when we will be pouring at Legends Estate W**ery from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

For now, here is your first look. We cannot wait to share the rest.

A beautiful day yesterday for harvesting Cabernet Franc from . Flavours are so rich and the balance is perfect . Looking forward to punch downs as the flavours and aromatics develop. One of my favourite times of the year!

A beautiful day on Monday picking Chardonnay from the Grimsby Hillside Frontier block. It was looking so fine !! Today we transfer to the barrel for ferment. Excited to see the outcome .
