❤️ A heartfelt thank you…
As we enter our final week at W**e Kitz Bathurst, I feel like I need to take a moment to simply say THANK YOU.
Thank you to every single one of my customers. I will never be able to thank you enough for your trust, your support, and your loyalty. ❤️
But W**e Kitz was never just about me.
It was a team. A family. And every person who worked with me, whether it was for a few weeks, a few months, or several years, left their own little mark on the W**e Kitz story.
It all started back in 2016 with my father-in-law, John, who opened W**e Kitz. Without him, I would never have had the opportunity to meet all of these incredible people. I will always be grateful to him for giving me the opportunity to live this adventure.
Then there was Paul, the person who started this journey with me. I will always be grateful for all the years we worked together.
And then there was Ron… my partner in crime. ❤️ My W**e Master. The employee who stayed with me the longest. Our morning coffees, our talks, our laughs, our stories… I could probably write a book! 😂 Ron, I could never have done everything I did without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all those years.
And then there was Brian. ❤️ Brian joined me around the time of COVID, and he is still here with me today, right until the very end. And let me tell you one thing: Brian does it all!
😂 And more importantly, he is someone I can count on. No matter what the problem is, no matter what day it is, I know I can call him and he will be there for me.
Over the years, Brian became so much more than an employee. He became a true friend and a family friend. I will always, always be grateful that I had him by my side through all these years, and especially that he will be there with me right through our very last day. Thank you, Brian, for everything. ❤️
And then there was Frank. Frank will always be very special to me. ❤️ Our customers truly loved him, and I will never forget the incredible politeness and respect that young student showed everyone. It was something truly special.
And Christophe… our Frenchman! 🇫🇷❤️
What a pleasure it was to meet you! Christophe was one of the hardest workers I have ever had. Upstairs, downstairs, wherever I needed him, he was there. Always ready, always efficient, always moving. He was such a fast learner and had a real business mind. Our customers loved him, and I truly loved having him as part of my team. I am so grateful our paths crossed, even if love eventually took him to Montreal! 😂
And finally, I want to finish with Carole. ❤️
Carole has been with me for more than two years now, and she will be here right until the very end. She has done so much for W**e Kitz—customer service and helping our customers through their own bottling experience!
But beyond being an employee, Carole became a friend. A real friend. I am so grateful I had the chance to meet her, both professionally and personally. And I know our friendship will continue long after W**e Kitz. ❤️
And of course, Brian and Carole are the two people still standing beside me through this very last week. I could not ask for better people to help me make it to the finish line.
To everyone else who has been part of the team — Tiffany, Khalid, Junior, Jacob, and all those I may have forgotten to mention — thank you. ❤️
I am deeply grateful to every single person who was part of W**e Kitz Bathurst, whether you were a customer, a friend, or an employee. You all helped make this place what it became. ❤️
So… stay tuned! 👀
Because it just might be that W**e Kitz Bathurst isn’t actually closing its doors after all… 🍷
I won’t be continuing with my team the way we have been, but someone is currently in the process of purchasing the business. I will be there to help guide and train them and to pass along everything they need to continue the journey.
There may be some VERY good news coming next week! 🤞🍷❤️
So… stay tuned!
