Your Co-op Food Store in Barrhead celebrated an exciting milestone this weekend! 📢

Darren, your grocery manager, has worked at Pembina West Co-op for 35 years! 🎉🥳

You might think Darren looks too young to be celebrating 35 years, but he started as a stock boy in 1990 by bothering the manager every day until he was hired. He worked his way up within the Co-op, becoming Grocery Manager in 2022. 🛒

We are so happy to celebrate this exciting milestone with Darren and we appreciate the work he puts in to keep the Co-op Spirit alive through so many decades! If you see him, make sure you express your congratulations! 🎊

A few moments from this week's BBQ at the Mayerthorpe Food Store in support of Pleasantview Lodge! 🍔🍿
We were proud to donate the burgers, popcorn, and a helping hand from our managers to support the volunteers. Thanks to the incredible community support, over $1600 was raised for the Lodge and the programs that bring joy to its residents.
