MEET THE WINEMAKER
We met Petr & Vera for the first time in July 2023 at the July Rendezvous wine fair in Czech Republic ๐จ๐ฟ. Aside from their incredible wine, they made a real impression on us with their warm, welcoming nature, but also with what we always call their "no bu****it style". They're honest & straightforward (especially Petr ๐) and you feel that in their approach in the vineyard รกnd wines.
Petr & Vera's vineyards around Mikulฤice are filled with lucious varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Blaufrankisch, Grรผner Veltliner, Palava, Riesling, Chardonnay & more. ๐ Their approach is pure in order to keep their fields healthy for the generations to come and to let the grapes shine to their fullest!
In the cellar, you'll find the same, pure approach which results in clean, crisp, often mineral white wines, 'atomic' oranges ๐ as we like to call them, and even some really impressive champagne style bubbles that combine a beautiful, creamy elegance with a crispy freshness. ๐พ
We're more than excited to have you finally meet them so they can chat to you directly during our wine paired dinners. So join Petr & Vera on Sunday 26/10 at .gent for seasonal inspiration and Monday 27/10 at .brussels for a brutalist adventure where the food will be paired to the wine instead of the other way around! ๐ด
