Patridom is a premium rum brand from the Dominican Republic, previously known as Ron Esclavo, known for being made exclusively from fresh sugar cane juice and aged tropically in both French and American oak barrels. The brand name combines “patrimonio” (heritage) and “Dominicano,” reflecting its Dominican roots. Its range includes various products, with common tasting notes across the rums being vanilla, caramel, and sweet coconut, often balanced with rich, complex flavors from the barrel aging.

This sweet and vibrant whisky brings tequila casks’ subtlety to our lightly peated spirit, for the very first time. Finished in these select casks from Mexico, our single malt exploration marries notes of dark chocolate and rose with smoked ripe bananas. An intriguingly indulgent Glen Moray. Our tequila cask exploration will bring a complex sweetness, along with fruity and thyme floral notes, which come to rest on a base of intense oak and leather. The peat influence enhances the floral and leather notes.

Nose: Aromas of rose petals and dark chocolate are threaded with suggestions of smoked thyme.

Taste: Smooth, sweet and gentle. Like ripe bananas roasted over an open flame and studded with hazelnuts.
