Using floor-malted grain, whole-leaf hops, and local wild yeast cultures, their beers are fermented naturally in wooden barrels with minimal modern intervention. Instead of controlling every step, Mills Brewing embraces seasonal changes, ambient temperatures, and the unique character each barrel develops over time.

The result? Complex, evolving beers that can take 2-4 years to ferment before being carefully blended and bottle-conditioned for release, creating layered, nuanced flavours.

Unfortunately, we just got word that Alberto from Cyclic won’t be able to make it to the tasting. The beers will still be here though, so we’ll guide you through the lineup with the tasting notes he’ll be sending us 🍻

This thursday we’re hosting a tasting with Cyclic Beer Farm. Based in Barcelona, this microbrewery focuses on mixed fermentation and farmhouse-style ales that are deeply tied to the land.
Cyclic treats beer as a seasonal harvest. Their fermentations utilize a proprietary house blend of wild yeast and bacteria, often enriched with organic fruits, herbs, and even vegetables from their family farm. The result is a lineup of Saisons, Grape Ales and Sours that are rustic, tart, and refreshing.
