Masters in Action:

Meet Narito Ishii, Sydney’s top fishmonger with unrivaled expertise in Asian seafood—he’s the sourcing genius behind the city’s elite omakase spots.

Leading the Omakase menu is Toshihiko “Toshi” Oe, the sushi maestro from Sushi Oe in Cammeray, known for his 30+ course creations that are pure magic. His wait lists to dine at his restaurant are longer than our wine list. With only 20 seats available, don't delay in booking in!

Blind Wine Wednesdays with Tim — BYO & No Corkage!

Our very own Head Sommelier & owner, Tim, is heading to the World Blind Tasting Championships in France — aka the Wine Olympics — representing Australia on the global stage. This is a huge deal, and in the lead-up he’s inviting you to join his training sessions. Across these rolling fortnightly dinners, you’ll sit down with Tim as he opens some cellar bangers and walks you through exactly how he tastes wine, what clues he’s looking for, and how he decodes the glass in front of him.

We'll be serving a shared set menu, and you'll get to try a dozen blind wines. Just tasting pours, it is Wednesday, after all 🤪🍷

Bring your own bottle to throw into the mix — but please, in the nicest possible way, don’t be that guy. This is meant to be casual and fun, but no one wants to see a Dan Murphy’s bargain bin wine on the table. It doesn’t need to be Penfolds Grange, but bring something you’re genuinely excited to share. We will be.

New arrival to our wines by the glass 🍷

Say hello to a sensational Burgundian producer: Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard

Known as one of the integral domaines in Chassagne-Montrachet. With deep roots in some of the region’s most revered vineyards—including three Grand Crus and twelve Premier Crus—they’re a benchmark for elegance, complexity, and site expression. Now led by Céline Fontaine, the wines blend Burgundian tradition with vibrant, youthful energy.

This 2020 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is no exception: dark cherry, forest floor, and a touch of spice glide across a lively, juicy palate with impressive depth and length. It’s a serious overachiever at this level.

Available by the glass, carafe, or bottle—just tell us how you like it.

Tuesday July 29th — from 5pm

After the huge success of our Unico Zelo night (thank you to those that joined — we don’t know about you, but we had a BLAST!) we’re keeping the bar takeover vibes flowing — and this time, we’re handing the floor to one of the Yarra Valley’s wildest and most beloved winemakers: Timo Mayer

Known for his small-batch, low-intervention wines and cult-like following, Timo’s wines speak loud — and so does he. We’ll be pouring a stellar lineup of his Timo Mayer and Bloody Hill wines (fun fact: Bloody Hill is run by his son Rudi Mayer — winemaking clearly runs in the family).

Truffle season is here, and we’re going all in. Join us for a decadent evening where every course is laced with the earthy, intoxicating scent of freshly shaved black truffle—paired with its perfect partner in crime: Nebbiolo.

We’re sourcing our truffles from Manjimup, tucked away in Western Australia’s South West—an area celebrated globally for producing exceptional French Périgord black truffles. Expect truffle in many forms: oils, salts, pastes, and of course, generous shavings of the fresh stuff. Can’t get enough? Tim and the team will be standing by with more truffle for those who plan to live, breathe, and bathe in it.

Sample Menu (subject to minor seasonal changes)

Fresh Focaccia & Truffle Butter
Baked in-house and served warm with whipped butter infused with Manjimup black truffle.

Stracciatella & Wild Mushrooms
