💫 Story Time
When I decided to take on the challenge of buying a small business, so many people asked — weren’t you scared? Doesn’t it stress you out doing it on your own?
But the truth is, there hasn’t been a single moment where I felt like I was doing this solo.
I wouldn’t have even considered taking the leap if it weren’t for the incredible support team behind the girl signing on the dotted line.
My “employees” are so much more than that. They’ve been my foundation, my sounding board, my strength. They’re not just amazing at what they do — they’re my chosen family. They laugh with me, cry with me, whinge with me, and make me excited to walk through the door each day.
The two role models I was lucky enough to buy this business from have stayed firmly in my corner — mentoring me, guiding me, and showing me what it means to run a place full of heart.
And then there’s my actual family — cheering me on in every way and always ready to step in when I need them most. I’ll never stop being grateful for that.
So no — I was never really worried about doing it alone… Because I’ve never been alone. I have the best team in my corner — and I truly couldn’t do it without them.
